Metro Water Services supplies water for many of the 690,000 residents of Nashville, Tennessee and Davidson County, as well as some customers in Rutherford and Williamson Counties. First operating in 1819, Metro Water Services collects water from the Cumberland River to ensure that the Nashville metropolitan area has enough water to sustain its dynamic growth.
